While instrumentalists often rely on external feedback (touching keys, seeing strings), a singer's brain has been forced to master a completely different, hidden sense: Interoception.

Interoception, the sense of the body's internal state, is crucial for singing. Enabing singer to feel subtle muscle tension, breath, and heart rate changes for precise control, leading to better performance.
