Beautiful, talented with a warm voice that could be described as sultry, Dora Luz was a famed Mexican singer and actress with quite a career before Walt Disney "discovered" her and made her immortal by having her sing the Augustin Lara song "You Belong To My Heart" to Donald Duck in the animated film, "The Three Caballeros". She recorded one other song for Disney in 1945 that wasn't heard publicly until 2003 when the long shelved animated short collaboration between Walt and artist Salvador Dali was finally finished. The song is called "Destino" from the short of the same name.
