Composer, Vernon Duke

Duke wrote both classical music and popular song. His songs are lush with melody with a distinctive musical language that is all his own. He had a very career and wrote songs that are held in high esteem in the American Songbook, songs like, “April in Paris”, Autumn in New York”, and “Taking a Chance on Love” as well as many seldom performed jewels that deserve to be revived.
